Johnny Cash - Hurt?

So we have this college radio station that plays new/random stuff that crap stations like Clear Channel would never play.. Anyways, it seems the last 5 days my alarm clock has went off playing this song (Johnny Cash - Hurt); at first I was like man this is crap (being 8am or something)..way too folky/country..but now its incredibly good I think. I know its a cover btw.

Should check out the video and the song, very powerful. Made Trent Reznor cry.

Ayup...great version.

Johnny's been doing various covers the last few years.

Although, his version of "I'm On Fire" on Badlands: A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska was....ummm...not so good.

Yeah, a pretty powerful video. I hate how people are saying its more powerful (the song itself) than the original Hurt. That's just ludicrous IMO. I guess you have to see them in concert and see Hurt played live to know what I mean...

must be one sad man. who was on the stairs, his wife? daughter? she looked uneasy.
June Carter Cash...his wife.
A much younger JCC is shown in some of the home movie footage during that same section of the video.
