Wow, I was pretty sure this had happened some time ago, because I recall the same flood of jokes about his classic routine(s) regarding his (rather expected) death.

A lot of people thought other people did his jokes. His name wasn't as well known as some people but his lines were.

:(

Still sad. I really liked John.

I have a bottle of water, and started watching one of his shows posted above. I think it's safe to say that it's dangerous to my computer to even attempt to take a sip. It's pretty likely to come right out my nose.

He's probably behind some slow people at the pearly gates, saying "Get out of the line!"

What do you mean wrong? That study says someone at that weight can expect to die 8 - 10 years earlier. And that's by putting on weight in midlife. So probably die a lot sooner the longer you are obese. Plus the average life is 78. But that means someone can live to 98 and someone can life to 58. The one who lives to 98 is dang well going to be in decent shape. Pretty much obsese people are going to die very young considering.

Anyway yeah. I just think it's a shame for people to die so young and not take care of themselves when they have family and friends and people who care about them. Way to much of your life should be left to live still with them. You can't stop taking care or your body and health. You just can't.

He had a reputation among his friends and fellow comedians as a brilliant, incredibly funny and kind man.

"He couldn't walk past a homeless person without giving them a $20," Schapiro said. "He would say, 'There but for the grace of God go I.'

He was a nice guy to. He will be missed.......
