I may not agree with the senator on all his policies and I think recently he has been heavily pandering to the religious right and the ultra right wing..but of the members of the congress he does appear to a steadfast believer in the principles of the republic rather than a scumbag opportunist.

It also appears as if his families impressive tradition of service is quietly continuing.

I'm not a McCain supporter but I do commend him allowing his son to do military service. I remember reading somewhere there was like 1% of all senetars children serving in militiary. Thats how hypcoracy in politics occurs. They say its honerable to serve for your country, but off coarse would never allow there privlidged kids to serve.
