John Mayer actually puts on a decent show because he is a much better guitar player than exhibited on his CDs. Be warned though, the audience will be 75% high school/college-aged females, so it's good for the eyes but terrible for the ears when they're crooning over JM while he plays.

I need tickets for the Charlotte, NC show on Sept 2 (maybe it's the 3rd). I'm gonna take a girl friend of mine. I bought her his Any Given Thursday CD for her birthday and she LOVES it.

I love his music as well and have all of his CD's (AGT, IWO, RFS). That man knows how to jam on the guitar. I saw him in concert last year in Cary, NC and it was an awesome show...but as stated above, the screaming HS chicks get VERY annoying after a while.
