Jeez, I remember the first article that I read that mentioned him called "Please Mister Postman Send Me An Engine".

That was easily 25 years ago.

Thats horrible... I remember looking at the Ligenfelter Corvettes in Carlisle, truley awesome machines. John was one hell of a guy...
 
Atleast he got to have some fun in his life 🙂 Got to drive the Sledgehammer 🙂 And made some nice and clean aftermarket kits 🙂
