if that's legit, good for him. the most recent thing i saw him in was The Gambler and he was disgusting fat. like he couldn't get more than 3 words out without gasping for air.

Good for him. I've always been a fan of his work. Maybe this will keep him around doing more good work.

Looks legit. Saw other pics from the same event and he damn sure wasn't holding his gut in all night. That looks like 150, maybe as much as 200 pounds lighter than he was at his worst. He was topping 4 bills at some point, seems to be close to half that now.

He looks a lot better in the after pic. I guess he heard that he need to lose weight to prolong his (healthy) life.

Yea he looked bug in his amazon show. Hope he can keep it off this time. Great actor but I see him not living a long life at his weight.

Awesome actor, glad to see him taking care of himself. I don't think I've seen him do a bad job acting ever.

Saw "The Monuments Men" last year, and he was still pretty fat. That was filmed in 2013.

The truth is that some people do look better heavy set, but John Goodman isn't one of them. He looks absolutely awesome and probably extended his life by at least 5-10 years. More importantly his remaining quality of life will be so much better.

In this era of outrageous sized portions, good for him for bucking the American trend.

Aw..... If we all only had the financial ability to hire a PERSONAL TRAINER and to lose the weight.
Hell... even a nutritionist in the home to serve up those healthy low cal meals to the family.

The sad thing is, just try to shop healthy and eat healthy. Just try!
Go to you local grocery store, Wal-Mart, whatever and just try to find foods that are low in salt, low in carbs, low in all the nasty things that make us fat.
Just try!

Maybe.... just maybe you'll find a small section in the grocery store serving up healthy food. A rice bar, low cal drinks, banana chips.
But most likely you won't find that.
Most likely you'll have no choice but to buy junk loaded with salt, fat, and a life insurance policy. Because you'll need it.
