John Carmack at Armadillo Aerospace? WTF?

I heard about Carmack working for NASA before but that was later dismissed as a rumor. But now I was looking on www.fountainheadent.com at their videos and they did one for Armadillo and I caught a few glimpses of Carmack. At first I thought I was hallucinating since all I do is study that dude's life and his company but then I went to Armadillo's sight and right there saw Carmack's name. I was kind of angered for some reason that I can't figure out. Think it's anger for him crossing industries? I know I can't control his life or anything but I feel kind of gyped or something. I also know he is just human and can't stand sitting in front of a computer 24/7 but I thought his life only consisted of computers and ferraris. I don't know, input and others opinions would be cool.

Read Slashdot.org and search for him. You'll see quite a few comments made by him regarding rockets. He's a rocket buff and has a company whose aim to is to launch a manned rocket. He's had quite a few interesting ideas as well. Also, Slashdot has a few articles Carmack's rocketry as well.

On anohter note, anywhere I can find info/pics on Carmack's Ferrari collection? I heard he had a custom twin turbo Ferarri made?
