I don't think we're understanding each other. All I'm saying is that I suspect his story is bullshit - meaning he damn well knew he was in possession of 50lbs of cocaine when he dragged it back home.

If he knew what he was doing, that's possession under Texas law (not that I think the cops would ever charge him). Hence the difference between innocently taking a bag and opening it at home to discover it's coke (pat on the back) and thinking you just won the lottery and dragging your haul back home to contemplate what to do with it (jail).

whether its bullshit or not is not relevant. i find his story just as believable as your scenario.

Now here is the real question: How many years would it take for someone to consume all of that? lmao

well, depends.

You could consume as much as you want in a day and that would be all you ever see of it...

Anyone else watch those documentaries on NatGeo about Cocaine Submarines? Very interesting stuff. They showed a nearly completed captured sub that was damn impressive considering it was built covertly in a frickin' mangrove swamp. Had A/C, GPS, video based parascope, and could hold something like 20 tons of cocaine. This sub was the next gen version, apparently they have been building cocaine subs for quite some time but the previous versions were not fully submersible. Even at $2 million a piece, the are basically disposable for a run that can net upwards of $250 million.

Evidence was found that Russians were involved in the design and building of it. More info and photos here: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/...-submersible-science-colombia-drug-smuggling/

Heyse speculated that the cocaine could have been dumped overboard by drug runners at the approach of a U.S. Coast Guard vessel

Some poor sap is gonna end up getting frozen in carbonite over this one.

why would someone pay you for 25ks when it would be much easier and more profitable kill you and your whole family and take it?
That's why you choose who you work with carefully. I know a few people who are into various recreational substances, and none of them would ever kill someone for drugs rather than pay (even for a huge amount like 25 kilos). Minimize your risk; work with people you know.

Like I said before if you don't already have the gang or mob ties or the muscle to goto war with those people you are a dead man. Nobody else can handle that weight. So specop is either delusional or one of the three scenarios I listed is true. This isn't peddling a few P's of mj outta your frat house.

I am too pussy to try and sell coke, and imagine trying to sell that much.

That is a ton to try and sell without any experience and imagine the prison sentence the police would try to put on you if you got caught trying to sell 17m in coke.

Can't move it without risking the original Buyers/Cops finding out about it. Can't keep it without the original Buyers/Cops finding out about it.

It is suspicious that he claims to have dragged it home before checking out the contents. I suspect he wasn't sure what he was going to do when he first knew what it was, but after considering things just decided to play it safe. He may have acquired a portion, if he's into that sort of thing. That in itself would be risky as the Buyer is going to know what the original count was.

Shit, you think I'm hauling a bag full of 25 K's across down and dropping it off on Pablo's fucking coffee table to sell it??

You're crazier than I am if you think that!

Why not? Ask the waitress for a whole Pot of coffee, put your Scales on the table, and wait for the line to form.

All jokes aside, even this guy decided to keep it, he could never profit from it. Assuming you're not a user, how many people here would even have the first clue on how to move this amount of drugs? I wouldn't. I couldn't name a single person I could ask either.

The people who lost it wouldn't be the problem. They're probably not going to find out because they stop at the first US point of entry. Some n00b trying to move that weight would get killed/ripped off by the people they tried to sell it to, or get caught in a simple sting.

I honestly wouldn't touch it or call the police. I would leave that $hit exactly where I found it. How'd you like to live the next years of your life wondering if some drug cartel hitman is coming after you b/c you stole his drugs? F that, it's not worth it.

Well I was workin' on my farm, 'bout 1982
Pullin' up some corn, and a little carrot, too
When two low-flyin' airplanes, 'bout a hun'red feet high
Dropped a buncha bales of somethin', 'bout hit me in the eye

So I cut a bale open, and man was I surprised
A buncha large sized baggies, with big, white rocks inside
So I took a little sample, and my crazy brother Joe
Sniffed it up and kicked his heels, said, "Horton, that's someblow!"

(Chorus)
Bales of cocaine, fallin' from low-flyin' planes
I don't know who done dropped 'em, but I thank 'em just thesame
Bales of cocaine, fallin' like the pourin' rain
My life changed completely by those low-flyin' planes

I loaded up them bales in my pick 'em up truck
Headed west for Dallas, where I might try my luck
I didn't have a notion that I could sell 'em there
Thirty minutes later I was a millionare

(Chorus)

Now I am a rich man, but I'm still a farmer too
But I sold my farm in Texas, bought a farm down in Peru
And when I get so homesick, I think I'm goin' insane
I travel back to Texas in a low-flyin' plane

(Chorus)

I would look real close around and probably keep a brick or three.

Stash that fucking shit for 3-5 years until dust has completely fucking settled down. Sell them for a nice stimulus package. You just won a major scratch ticket.

if i had found that, i would immediately call model talent agencys, hire girls for a "photoshoot," get the girls completely chalked out...and then proceed along the same pathway of life Charlie Sheen has taken....

Go about my business. If you keep it all it takes is one big mouth or selling it to that one wrong person. I wouldn't take that risk.

Give it to the cops. Fuck that as well. I'm sure whoever lost that would know what their packages look like and with the chance of your name getting out it ain't worth it.

I agree with TheNinja... Just keep jogging knowing that karma would kick in and kill you if you were meant to actually pick it up. I see nothing good of this, someone is searching this guy out like a hound

I dont know why but this part bugs me.

The bricks tested positive for cocaine, he said.
The wholesale value of each brick is about $675,000, he said.

Just seem repetitive, sad that was the one thing that stood out most to me.
