The only qualification except being a citizen for 7 years is to convince the people to vote for you in enough numbers to beat the other opponent.

wha? born US citizenship not required?! we need to change this. what if chinese immigrants start applying for congress after they get their citizenship here? their allegiance does not lie with the US. hmmmmmm, sounds familiar.....

We're through the looking glass here. Imagine a scenario where a terrorist is elected president because he appeals to the liberal base? A terrorist bent on stealing the most expense jewel ever, and he wants the Office of the President so he can access the escape tunnel that runs under the Smithsonian.

He was asked to run because he is somewhat popular and there is name recognition. He was not chosen because of his intelligence, political prowess, ability to legislate laws, etc.

This guy is about as qualified to run as Alvin Greene.. the SC democratic senatorial candidate.

Sounds like Palin to me ;)

What are the odds that the state Supreme Court would allow him to be listed on the ballot as "Joe the Plumber"? 1,000,000,000,000 to 1? He doesn't win running under his own name.
