Haven't seen Joe Somebody and Amelie is "okay". I watched it jsut to see waht the hype was about but I dunno, it was good I guess but Id ont see why it won so many awards... guess because people think "different" = better.

Is Amelie boring? We don't want something which will put us to sleep.

I guess some people think its boring, but that applies to everything eh? :)

I liked it because I thought it was cute and interesting. I really like a movie that shows perspectives that are different. Like when two people meet on the street you get to know whats going on in the head of each person and how that one visit on the street effected their day, stuff like that.

So I would say, no its not boring. But it is subtitled. Which can be a pain when you're trying to keep up with whats happening on the screen.

Are you calling my reading skills sad?? ;)

Well, maybe. But my excuses are:
1. I was ENTHRALLED with what was going on in the movie (It's that good.)
2. I was trying to see if I understood any of the French. Negative on that. I deserved a F rather than a B- in that class.

I had a chance to watch Joe Somebody with my daughter on Sunday afternoon. I thought the movie was pretty good. I felt like it was worth $4.00. However, I wouldn't have paid $8.50 to see it in the theater.
