That's right folks, he gets air.

Michael Jackson signed a will in 2002 providing for his children and his mom, but leaving nothing to daddy Joe -- this according to the Wall Street Journal.

As we reported yesterday, attorney John Branca has the will and plans to file it with the court within 30 days of the singer's death. According to the will, Jackson reportedly left his estate -- estimated at $1 billion -- to his mother, three children and one or more charities.

As for why Joe was left out -- Jackson has said during his childhood his father beat him.

Karma is a bitch!

That's not karma man. Karma would be Joe getting ass cancer and die of horrible death over a period of a year for all the shit he's done to all his children.

I dunno, seeing your son who you beat die before you and leave you nothing of his billion dollar estate is pretty bad.

i would think that your dad is one of the last ppl u'd think of when writing your will...

first comes.. spouse(s), children, mother, siblings.... papa (you'd expect him to die before you too)

Odd you'd think of putting your mother in a will and not your father. You'd think both would be "gone" before you would....you honestly think you're going to pass before your mother?

Why would anyone put his father in his will?

It's my understanding that celebrities/really rich folk aren't the same as normal people. If they do care who their money goes to, like say it could go to your abusive father, then they'll have a will prepared. The will gets changed as family die off and such, but the rich folk always have to be prepared for things like this if they truly have an issue with somebody getting their money.

Even tho beatings are mentioned, I'd guess it would have as much or more to do with emotional abuse. You can get over some bruises, but not lack of love and longterm emotional abuse.

Doesn't mean anything.

The father still lives with Jackson's mother. Right? So he can still have the lifestyle (just not in name unless the mother changes that).....

He should have mentioned him in the will and left him a token like $1. That way it cannot be appealed on the grounds that he was left out by mistake. That is SOP because big wills have been thrown out because of that.

Also, it's costumary to leave everything to your mother, not your father. I did it when I was younger.
