Joe Biden has a grand agenda and if allowed to happen could be as grand as that of FDR. Better roads incorporating technology for the future of smart automobiles. Better infrastructure to wire all of America for high speed interent. Better bridges, better parks, better schools, better rail, and a better America that people will enjoy long after all of us here are dead and buried. But one thing stands in the way, republicans in congress. Just imagine if a few republicans had stood in the way of the dreams of FDR and his new deal? What Biden must do to see his agenda come true is to get more democrats into congress. More democrats in the house and more democrats in the senate. And THAT is where Joe Biden SHOUD BE focusing his sights on, and not to be shy about it.
During Joe's address Joe should have first pushed his agenda, as he did, but second to look the republicans right in the face with an evil eyed stare and say, "America must elect more democrats into the senate and into the house". Joe SHOULD HAVE declared war on this republican obstruction facing America. Joe SHOULD HAVE in no uncertain terms warned America that if America really wants infrastructure and common sense gun controls, and better schools, bridges, roads, rail and the best internet then voters must kick the republicans out of congress and embrace the democrats at the polls. After all Joe, that agenda really boils down to control of the house and senate and that control being democrat control. If Joe can convince America to give Joe THAT, a democrat controlled house and senate and that being a super majority house and senate, then everything else will fall into place. Everything else that polls show a majority of Americans want very very much yet their foolish lame brained constant re-electing of republicans is what stands in the way.
I would have LOVED to see Joe Biden look into the eyes of those republicans in that presidential address and simply say YOU HAVE TO GO.
Oh sure, republicans will go ballistic, Fox News will go ballistic, Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson will crap their pants on air, but who the F cares? Republican have made it clear what they intend to do in order to derail Joe's agenda, and they will not be shy about it. Republicans would never compromise despite their claims because they never have, just ask Obama. If democrats would have waited for republicans to compromise on that last Covid relief package, that package would have never passed. America would STILL be waiting and debating to this very day. Joe needs to do what few democrat presidents have done in the past, to go after the republicans in the house and in the senate and not be shy about it. Tell America that if America really wants this Biden agenda to come true then the voters must kick the republicans in the balls, and then go vote for a democrats.
