Everyone speculates on who will run against Donald Trump in 2020.
To me it looks like none other than Joe Biden will accept that challenge.
Joe has the energy, the spunk, the determination, AND Joe might proclaim when announcing, "This is my duty. My duty as an American citizen, as an American patriot, and in the name of such greats as John McCain and in the memory of my son, I must challenge this abomination currently sitting in the Whitehouse. This is my call to duty. Our call to duty as decent patriotic Americans."
Guess I just gave Joe's campaign speech, but you get the drift.

As I see it, only Joe Biden has the fire and the mouth to go head to head against Donald Trump.
In 2020, a nice guy just won't do it.
Logic won't cut it.
Reasoning won't claim it.
This time, a woman just won't do it, nor would any senator or congress person of minority race such as Cory Booker, nor the big guns such as Chuck Schumer.
This challenger has to be someone tough as nails.
Someone that can flash you a small while cutting your throat. A Joe Biden.
Someone that doesn't shy away from flipping the bird at political correctness, or afraid to tell it like it is no matter who's feathers get ruffled.

Joe is someone that could just catch on with the Bernie Sanders people, and with the rebels in society.
Especially when Joe shoots off his mouth, crosses the lines, all while attacking Donald Trump.
There just might be a sleeping silent majority of anti-Trump American rebels out there, much like the Donald Trump rebels, however this group of anti-Trump rebels are not followers of Donald Trump.
They just might become energized with a Joe Biden.
Maybe not at first, but after Joe opens his big mouth a few times they could get hooked.
Jump on that Joe Biden, anti-Trump rebel wagon.

Yes, Joe Biden could just catch on.
Create joe's own stardom by directly challenging Donald Trump on his own ground, tit for tat, not taking any of Donald's crap.
When Donald dishes it out, only a Joe Biden could dish it right back. And then some.
We all know that Joe has it in him. And one can only imagine how Joe must be champing at the bit to roll around in the mud with Donald Trump. To really roll around low down dirty.

This isn't going to take a campaign. This will take an all out hate-fest.
And it will be brutal.
After all, Joe isn't simply taking on a president, Joe will be taking on a coup d'état.
Taking on a cult of loyal mindless Donald Trump followers.
A big job? Sure!
But Joe can do it.
If Joe feels America is and has been threatened, and Joe does believe that, then Joe can do it.
Only Joe can live up to that challenge, take the intense heat. And only Joe Biden has the needed wit, the big mouth, and the cutting jabs to take down the likes of Donald Trump.
As long as Joe can connect by playing low down dirty politics and with tossing in some good ole American patriotism, by doing what is necessary whatever is necessary, then Joe can stop Donald Trump.

Joe Biden is the only man capable going head to head against Donald Trump. Period!
Plus, add into the mix a running mate that I can only imagine, but someone ruthless as Joe, another nasty ass so to speak, and there you have it.
A stage set for an all out battle of the Hunger Games 2020 edition.
A battle to the death.
And Joe? Joe believing that this is his call to duty. The calling he cannot ignore.

Could be quite entertaining.

What new and exciting ideas does Biden bring to the table? I could get behind Biden but from what I’ve seen so far he’s pretty vanilla in the solutions department.

Right now I’m on the Elizabeth Warren ideas train. I’m not necessarily locked on her as a candidate but her ideas as far as tackling the problems of corruption, nefarious foreign influence, and pro capitalist solution to wealth inequality are attractive to me.

And she is definitely running along with Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, and Tom Styer.

Dukakis/Mondale!!

Can't be any worse than Biden.Think about it, they win, Mondale croaks right afterward, Dukakis appoints Hilary, then he too croaks. Hilary gets promoted and appoints Bill as her VP and we have a Clinton/Clinton White House. That becomes the answer to a future Jeopardy question "How did the 2nd American Civil War start?"

I would go for Stephen Colbert because I think the answer to Trump is to laugh in his face. Plus he will appeal to the youth mo better.

I want someone young like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez please. Washington needs a fucking hard reboot followed by a large install of fresh ideas and problem solvers.

The right wants Ocasio-Cortez as well :D

And Ocasio Cortez will wipe the floor with them.. because she's a breath of fresh air.

On a more serious note since she can't run till 2028 at the earliest.. a more viable candidate is someone who has the balls to not debate Trump since there is no debate anymore.

I like Joe, was glad to see him as VP, but he seems too old at 78. Otoh, that's what VPs are for.

I would absolutely vote for him in the primary if the other Dems don't pan out. Trump cannot be reelected, and could take a lot of Trump's base as he's the real man if the people.

If he doesn't run it will be because of age. Whatever happens the Dems need Biden's presence, even as a surrogate. Biden is about the only person in the world who is both very visibly perceived as a nice guy but is also one of the few that can get into the trenches with His Donalship and consistently come out ahead.

I would go with Joe if he would agree to one term and the right VP.

At his age serious medical problems could onset quickly and we don't need that position in doubt again.

Bernie didn't get screwed over, he lost. Did the DNC want him to lose? Sure. But so did most of the voters also.

I wouldn't go that far. The Dem primary had issues with independents trying to change registration fast enough to vote for Bernie. I know quite a lot who were told.. their voter registration would not take effect until after the next presidential cycle.

Given how close it was.. and the superdelegate lead, that could have easily lost him the nomination and that left a bad taste in a lot of his supporters mouths.

And ofcourse you have Donna Brazile trying to sneak questions to Hillary before the debate.

Why do people who argue this never cite the actual numbers? Clinton beat Sanders by 3. 6 million votes out of a total of 30 million, a 12 point lead. In the general elections, that would be considered a blowout.
