Yeah, it's not the nerds. Some of the jocks were in all of my AP classes as well. It's usually the weird kids (i.e., wearing fishnet around your arms) that got picked on.

Nope, my entire highschool population were all nerds. We didn't even have a football team. The only sports that we won at were tennis (rich people) and track (I guess us nerds are naturally built to run from jocks).

I graduated 26th out of 620 students and was also All-State in baseball and 400 m in indoor track

no, I think poor/rich distinction is the biggest form of discrimination in today's society. Just everyone today is so materialistic that you basically can buy respect. I think the average looking guy with the sick BMW or whatever gets a little more respect then the all-state basketball player these days.
