Jobber looking for Crack - Plz lock

<< Jobber looking for Crack >>

so you felt it was your duty to snitch him out in public. Good job Fink. I love members turning other member in, it's so good for morale!

<< It's better then allowing people to go about requesting means to illegally acquire software 😉 >>

Replies Rand, king of all Anandtech snitches😉

I guess you didn't catch the part in my post about him doing it publicly. A PM or Email to the Mods would work just as effectively and nobody would know that one member is ratting out another.

>>would know that one member is ratting out another

The jobber was looking for illegal software which is against the rulez of this great forum and he had two post to his credit, if he would have been a 'real' member it may had been different.

>>so you felt it was your duty to snitch him out in public

Tell me you didn't say that..... Someone tell me he didn't SAY that .... /me to am just kidding..

Every member has some sort of responsibility to keep this board clean and specially - Elite Members -

<< what difference does it make whether it's public or private?most of us don't post links asking for cracks.
>>

Most of us aren't incredibly stupid either but there are always a few. There is no need to post something publicly (what you looking for recognition?) that can be handled in private with a little more indiscretion. What purpose does it serve to publicly humiliate some idiot who should know better but doesn't ? On top of that, if done privately the moderator has a choice of whether to warn the individual or ban him, depending on the offense. If done publicly the Mods really have no choice but to ban the offender. Trust me, many of us just hate the idea of members ratting out other members for something that really has no bearing on the person who is ratting the offender out.

Yeah but to do it publicly is to also draw attention to yourself. What's the purpose? Trust me, if you were trying to solicit young boys for sex in OT I would PM the Mods instead of running over here screaming at the top of my lungs! The odds are they will read the PM's before they will read the Post.
