I'll try to keep this short and pertinent

Technically I am a drafter. However I also manage/administer the domain/workstations/software purchase+licensing for a 20 person division of a larger company. On those responsibilities I answer to both our divisions manager as well as our main corporate business director.

I have had these responsibilities for about 2 years now, and my responsibilities have grown on a pretty regular basis. Our 20 person company was bought by this larger company about 4 months ago, but when I was given the responsibilities it was our division boss quite basically just said to me "Do you think you could help out running the computers around here" - when the last guy got fired.

Now that my responsibilities are quite a bit more than just fixing peoples e-mail and rebooting the server when it acts up, I want to try to make my position official, both to give me more power to perform my duties and quite frankly i think I should be paid a bit more for the extra responsibility

However, I have no official training nor do I know what title would be appropriate given my responsibilities.

Here's what I do on a regular basis:

Day to day upkeep of machines and software
Fixing/maintaining hardware and software
Administrator of company domain/e-mail server/backup/software subscription accounts
Recordkeeping/maintenance of our CAD production software/licenses (~25k/seat, with annual maintenance for new versions)
Purchasing/assembly of new workstations as needed
Training on new software releases to train other drafters
Occasional work with project coordinators/engineers to design some standards/folder structures/best practices
I also help with some of this at our other divisions as well
And more minor stuff

I don't really know what I should aim for. Drafter/IT Administrator? Drafter/CAD Coordinator?

Ideas? I'd also be open to some training classes if anyone have suggestions to get me some actual certifications to back me up, I'm all self/anandtech taught right now but so far it's served me fairly well

Drafter sounds to entry level for your experience, why not simply shoot for CAD Coordinator/IT Administrator

Can't help on IT, but if you're doing that much extra stuff and saving your company(ies?) from having to hire a new guy or contract out the shit, you should. They'll "exploit" you as much as you're willing.

Alright, I think I'm going to aim for Sr. Drafter(more accurate considering my drafting duties and experience - I run a whole small client all on my own)/Cad Coordinator

I was thinking more to Sr Drafter/IT Administrator, but I don't want to go too far down the path of IT. Drafting is where my heart is so I want that to be number 1, and CAD Coordinator should allow me to have the authority I feel I need as well as help me establish some drafting practices that my bosses would like done

Now, just have to go talk to my boss about it. He says he's in the process of trying to get raises for everybody (we're considerably under market-rate company wide, since we were just a 15 person company before) - I thought this would be as good a time as any to bring it up that I'm handling a lot of duties well above my title-grade as well as paygrade
