Just curious, though this doens't seem to be as common with worsening economy, do you think the past few years have tempered employers feelings about a resume looking all cut up with several short term (less then a year) positions versus long term stability? That used to be a big stigma that the person was undependable.

Second question, assuming you are happy with your current position, what would it take for you to switch? Don't want salary amounts, but percentages will work.
 
Lots of short-term hops are never a good sign. This is especially true of someone who is supposed to have picked a career already.

Move to another job? It would take a lot for me since I like my job. Plus, I'd ask for a contract.

I know it never looks like a good thing, but do you think it is still as looked down upon as it once was? So a 40% increase in salary wouldn't tempt you?
