Job Search Help

I'm a recent grad (Dec) with a Bachelors in CS and so far I've had no luck. Mostly I've just been using the web to post and submit resumes (Monster, Dice, company websites, etc...). Are there maybe any other directions I could be looking in to find an IT job? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

try using your school's career center website job searching menus. that's how i get most of my interviews.

networking is key

also instead of applying for a job, email and ask if you can call the people to get to know the company and the job better

I get a lot of feedback this way

Also never attach your resume in your first email. just say that you wish to talk to them..

apply for jobs you are overqualified and overskilled for, that way you can get your foot in the door ... then, once they have openings in better positions, get ready to move on up.

Volunteer or intern to get some experience. Network and ask everyone for any related opennings. Stay positive and sharpen your interview skills. You will make it.
