Job: Network Security Analyst

Elite Member
location: Morrisville, NC (Raleigh area)

My company is looking for two more security analysts to work at our SOC. One analyst for day shift and one for night shift.

This is a level 1 position. Network+/CCNA and Security+ and/or prior systems/network administration are preferred. Cisco and Fortinet experience a definite plus.

Please PM me if interested. Any specific questions I will try to answer in this thread but keep in mind I'm not the hiring manager, I don't have salary info.

Level 1 here is the lowest. There are a few Level 2s, and we have one person that could be classified as a Level 3.

Don't need real security experience. Its hard to find people that do have it, and those people usually are already in the level 2 category. So if you really are interested then we can talk about it via pm. 😉

I've got a nice gig right now with great benifits, but I like to keep my eyes open. 🙂

Times like this I wish I hadn't let all my certs expire 🙁...I had Security+ and a GSEC, both gone as of like 2 years ago now. That and I don't live anywhere even close, but Raleigh is a really nice area, I'd consider relocating if I didn't have other responsibilities. Hope you guys find some worthwhile people 🙂

I tend to agree. At my company, it's hard to find people with the skillset we need, so we're willing to train it. We want people who are motivated and intelligent, who can communicate, and who have at least a decent background from which we can train.

I'll kick his sorry ass if he doesn't email you his resume.

Oops. This is thread and not PM.

Everyone else please ignore.
