Job market sucks in my area.

The job market in my area sucks. I live in southern rural virginia. I have tried career builders, monster, and the vec. Where else can I check? Would you recommend walking into places and trying to get a job? I wouldn't mind working retail for a while.

Where can I work for a while until something better comes along? The place I work at now I am not to comfortable with. The place nextdoor was robbed a few weeks ago and I feel unsafe working here. Plus I want to work regular shifts and not graveyard.

I once tried cold calling places looking for a job. That didn't work well at all. Lots of places where like "huh? wtf? a beggar!". I don't think just walking into places would work so well either.

Try asking your parents friends or maybe your relatives for some leads.

Otherwise, you have few good oportunities.

Yeah I don't have very many opertunities. It is kind of frustrating and depressing. I don't know what I am going to do?
