I have a full time job, and it's not a problem if I need to leave the office or take a day off here and there. But I have about 5 interviews that need to be scheduled, and I am wondering what is the best approach to going to these interviews, without alerting management.

I have about 40 hours of vacation time accrued, so I was thinking about taking a week off at the begining of next month and scheduling the interviews during that week.

If you have the hours that might not be a bad idea. I sometimes see if I can schedule a phone interview first to make sure it's going to go places. Otherwise, if you have the time it's yours to use. Congrats on the interviews btw!

try to schedule them into two days with about four hours apart. Then again it depends on the type of position you are going to be going for.

Might want to consider the possibility of an interview going LONG very long. For my first job out of college I had two phone interviews and then an in person interview that my hiring manager told me would take 4 hours max. Guess what I ended up getting invited to lunch after interviewing with 7 different people and then shadowed a guy around the building for an hour after lunch. If I would have scheduled another interview for that day it would have been a disaster.
