Job interview tomorrow... what to wear?

The job is a Frame Relay Technician for a telecom company. What should it be? A suit and tie, dress shirt and tie, a nice black DKNY polo style shirt I have and some light colored khakis? What do you guys think?

I would say a dress shirt, tie and nice pants. A jacket and everything might be too much. It's not really an executive position.

Yeah I always wear a suit no matter what kind of company I apply for (note: My lowest form of a job has been tech support so don't give me any mcdonalds BS ). You simply can't go wrong in a suit.

you can never go wrong with a suit, even if you are the only on in the office wearing one . It's impressive. I would always wear at least a tie to a job interview.

2-piece suit and tie should be good. Depends on the company though.

Yeah if they're a laid back company and you know that everyone wears blue jean and a tshirt, then just be one up on that with a polo shirt and slacks. If they're a professional looking company, then definitely a suit (don't go the vest route). Which reminds me, I've got this suit that needs altering. Heheh bought it 4 months ago. Damn! Gotta go find a tailor.

i always do and 9 out of 10 times they say "Just wear a button down business casual and slacks".

techie jobs rule for that reason.

if its a big big company, always suit and tie.

Unless you going for a job like UPS, you ALWAYS, ALWAYS where a suit! You are competing against other people for the job, do you want the other guy to make a better First impression? I used to help hire for a warehouse type company, and I was told NOT to hire anyone that was not dressed nice, we didnt expect suits for that type of job but you damn well have a shirt with a colar or you were out of luck.
