Job interview protocol

so, i had an all day interview today, and i couldnt really figure out what i was supposed to do with my suit jacket. When do you unbutton it andleave it on? when do you take it off? when should it be buttonned? I felt most comfortable unbuttoning it while i was seated, buttoned it while standing, and i took it off when they took me to lunch. anyway, jsut curious since i have a couple more onsite interviews with other companies. you got it right.

unbutton when sitting down,
button when standing

but i prefer to keep my jacket during dinner/lunch....unless the place is really warm.
