Job Interview - I'm Freaked!

I've got a job interview at IBM tomorrow, it's for an internship and its going to be the first "real" job interview I've ever had. Just thought I'd share a little bit of my anxiety 🙂.

Wish me good luck if you want!

Yeah, I wish you good luck. Don't hem and haw with your answers, act confident, and answer without hesitating. They will like that. 🙂

Best of luck, I hope it's better then my interview. I was asked "Why haven't you been able to find employment yet?" Seriously, how can an unemployed person answer this question properly? That's like saying to a girl "So why don't you have a boy friend yet?"

Wow I feel for you, what a nasty one. This is precisely the type of question that would screw me over 🙁.

My last interview actually caught me off guard. I just went in to turn in an application, and boom, I was being interveiwed, and I wasn't freaked at all. I'm actaully glad it went down that way. I gave myself a substantial raise to $20-24 an hour now. 🙂 When it gets really busy, I should make a bit more.

good luck! i worked at IBM as an intern. what site are you applying for?

I got the interview though a Co-op app. Its a QA job but I'm in an Electrical Engineering program, and that's why I'm freaked, I don't want to disappoint the interviewer with my lack of Software Engineering skills.

cool i was a co-op too. i talked to 3 different people and took a test in Java. just study the basics. they can't expect TOO much from interns.

Dont worry man, they are a cake walk! i did them in Silicon Valley and Raliegh, NC bothwere very easy and i ended up getting offers from both places. remeber to dress nicely, pay attention to details, and ask intelligent questions. you'll do great.
