Wednesday I have a job interview for a position developing web applications. I don't have much experience doing web stuff besides HTML and some PHP. They also want me to know JAVA which my knowledge is very limited of. I know C++, VB.NET, COBOL etc all extremely well and I am willing to learn so I want to get that across. Can I get some sort of idea what questions I will be asked. A friend is lending me his JAVA textbooks (although they dont cover J2EE which is a concern, considering how indepth it seems to be).

I hope the job doesn't involve writing anything, because I know I'm not the only one who saw that huge block of text and went straight to the reply without attempting to read it. Formatting is your friend!

I believe it. Many job sites require basic HTML to format, and that's WAAAAY over most recruiters' heads!

Regardless, as someone who knows C++ and whatever, you know that having nothing but huge blocks of text, copy/pasted or not, will only be a negative thing.

I know that editors have to do that all the time.

In other words, hopefully, your laziness won't cut into your job.
