What do you guys think of posting resume on monster, careerbuilder, dice, hotjobs... etc.... website?

they have a question regarding "Hide" you infomation from employer or "Show" everything such as your name, phone number, email and such.

Why would anyone want to use "Hide" function if you're looking for a job?

Please make me understand this concept.

Also, should I let my resume searchable by Staffing Firms? Good/Bad bout it?
 
The hide function can be useful if you're currently employed and you're trying to find a different job. The last thing you need is for your boss to be resume surfing and stumble across your resume with it saying you're available immediately.

I personally keep my personal info hidden 'cause after a while you start getting spam from companies trolling the job boards' database. I get enough junk e-mail/phone calls so I don't feel like adding to the list.
