What if I have two interviews how do I explain to the second one that I may get hired for a position with another company? I feel I did good and they'll let me know within two business days. However, this company I'm going to interview for next is basically a shoe in. It's a guarantee that I will get hired. What do I do?
 
Tell them you want to think about it, but that you're very interested in the offer.
 
Wait for offers from both, decide where you want to go. Turn down, POLITELY, the offer you don't want. There are tons of sample letters on the web for accepting/declining offers.

You dont have to explain crap, just do the interview and if you dont take the job just say you dont take the job. Hell, you might even be able to haggle for benefits/salary
