Basically I am increadably pissed at the two girls but thankful I kept my job. Guess all I can take from this is never to trust anyone you work with. Nomatter how friendly they seem or how cool they come across.

Bingo. Though showing attitude about it is being counter-productive. So being conservative is the best bet. Remember everybody is out for themselves one way or another.

In any matter or any case that is bothering you it is most important to be pro-active and not just to sit back. You cannot let personal problems impede on your ability to work. If you think it does or will you must report it ASAP. You cannot report it after the fact it happened.

Now prove yourself in the next few months and consider it a lesson learned.

I do know she and the other RA that bad mouthed me drink in her room sometime which is DEFINITELY against policy but I feel like I would be going against my morals telling on them. I think if I do go down though I will take them with me. ESPECIALY when its not 100% my fault.

My floor is the quietest out of 2 buildings (16 floors total)

My floor has the second least amount of writeups out of the 2 buildings

One complaint from one resident who the first time I met him said "wow we gots some faggots on this floor" because I wrote him up for noise

Residents respect me and understand I have a job to do

I guess youre right you dont know if I am a good RA or not. I think I am and so did my supervisor untill they went to him with this.

HA I doubt it. I am pretty damn sure he believes them over me because of the circumstances.

Here's the first rule of HR. When someone brings you a people problem, they are the problem. Remind your supervisor of this when the opportunity arises, such as directly after the other RAs drinking causes a problem. It sounds like this person is a practiced backstaber. I wonder if they wanted you canned all along?

What did they say you were doing wrong? If he doesn't tell you what it is, then how can you do it right?

Having been acquainted with several situations like this as an RA (and having survived as one for four years through college and grad school), here are my thoughts:

First, you got caught skipping an in-service. Nothing will change the fact that that allegation has been made and that you admitted to it. They can fire you for that (and most real-world jobs can do so as well) alone, so keep that in mind as you process the rest of your emotions as you deal with this.

Second, you were given a second chance by a sympathetic superior. Remember that as a result of these issues, your superior has already spoken with his superiors and someone in that chain of command stuck their neck out for you to keep you from getting canned. Remember that someone else's reputation is now connected to yours.

Third, you have a chance to redeem yourself by acting coolly, professionally, and by the book. For the rest of your employment with your school's department of residential life, you will be watched, but at the same time, you will be noticed for what you do. Use this as a chance to grow and strengthen your work ethic.

Fourth, you must not let your anger toward your coworkers, your supervisor, or (potentially) your shame about these incidents interfere with your ability to perform your job functions. Your residents will depend on you for activities, advice, and an open ear, and they will depend on you regardless of how well you're getting along with your coworkers or how you feel about your job performance. Be professional with your coworkers and punctual with your boss, but more importantly be a good RA. You were hired most likely because you possess a certain energy and maturity; continue to use those to your advantage.

If you had only gone to the meeting/class... then you could tell those b(w)itches to shove it. Backstabbing is morally repugnant.

Then again you can use this as an opportunity to show them up - you can be "Super RA" and since you're being watched, it'll be duly noted.

You opened yourself up to attack when you didn't complete your job responsibilities. You think that their timing was coincidence? You got backstabbed, by someone well-practiced at it. The dinner was a nice cover for the "I was just trying to do the right thing" speech.

Now, you could try and get her in trouble, but really, that's just going to be a lot of drama and she's probably better at it anyway. And if you confront her about it, she gets to play the "self-righteous" card and you get screwed again.

I advise you to:
a) Fulfill your responsibilities to the letter and not make it easy again
b) Cover your ass in as many ways as possible - keep witnesses around when you're watching the halls or following some procedure. Make a point of saying stuff at meetings you're supposed to be at so no one can deny you were there. A "he-said, she-said" battle usually goes to the more manipulative person, so don't let it get there.
c) Keep the girl as far from you as possible. Again, keep witnesses around when you can't avoid being in the same room (see b).

Ya this was a hard lesson to learn and I wish I could have just read about it instead of living this one. The thing is she has nothing to gain by me gettnig fired. This is her last semester here (graduating) so I honestly have no idea why she did this other than she is mad I didnt go out with her.
