I'm luckier than all of you. I get a 40% discount on all non-sale items, and 25% on sale items. :D

Dang... reading this makes me jealous. Some of you guys have it made with benefits. I'm contracting right now with a large manufucturer in the appliance industry (my first job out of school), and I basically get nothing. The firm they contract through offers 5 paid holidays a year, a slightly discounted PPO health insurance, and 5 days vacation/year only after having been there a full year (which I have not yet). The company basically contracts all new engineers they hire, but then hires some on directly when they find new openings. Sucky situation, but it really is the best job opportunity in the area I was looking at, plus I am getting MAD job experience.

My benefits include:

1) Sport/Casual dress except client meetings

2) Free drinks/water cooler

They're trying to get a 401k, but there's absolutely no match, profit-sharing, or insurance. :(

This job sucks.
