I consider myself VERY luck to be interning where I do...they have many employee benefits that make it a great work enviornment

I know it might not seem like a big deal but i honestly believe it really puts the employees in a much better mood and therefore are willing/able to produce better work. The Lunch thing also helps to kepe the employees in the office so they dont go out for lunch (they ususally order in)

So what kinds of stuff do you have at your jobs?

That's some nice benefits. Currently am a consultant and have no benefits except neffing away when am free.

Its a trading firm and the reason they dont like ppl leaving is becuase the market doesnt close for lunch...why should we stop trading for it? Eat at your desk while you work!
 
- I get to come in when I want and leave when I want, as long as I work enough during the week.
- I can leave work for appts as needed
- Free soda/water
- Neff as much as I want

I work at a 3 person company, its great.
 
I get none, but I'm only a student programmer for 2 departments on campus. They won't let me work OT too, even when I have a lot of projects lined up. So basically, if I hit the 40 hour mark befor the end of the week, I have to stop, or my managers get yelled at by the payroll office.
 
I get a paycheck.I also dl music all day.I get a golf cart.I use the golf cart to go over to my friends dorm and get high at lunch.I basically dont have any real benefits but I also basically dont do anything.I get 1 1/2 hour paid lunchs.Umm...

yeah, thats what I do, but only so I can leave an hour early 😀

benefits include: discounts on dell, ford, ge appliances (guess where i work), and a bunch of other stuff that interns (me) dont really care about...

haha nice....with me being an intern i dont have to worry much about the healthcare/pension stuff just yet. its a VERY laid back enviornment...and some ppl do wear whatever the hell they want to work 😛
 
Pay .40 for every mile I drive to an offsite.
Pay for tolls/parking.
Pay for cable modem service at home.
Pay for blackberry/service.
Free sodas/food in the office.
They give us a new laptop to use every year and the old one we were using we get to keep.
Discounts on all computer hardware/software.
Beach house at Bethany beach.
Paid meals while offsite.
Company profit sharing at the end of the year so 40% of profits that the company makes get distributed to employees.
Paid 2 weeks paid vacation and 1 extra week added every year afterwards (So technically if I work there 50 years I can have a whole year off LOL).
I can wear shorts or anything to work.
They pay full coverage for health/dental/vision


That's all I can think of at the moment anyways.

At my old coop, I got free drinks and food everyday and free boos (various types from beer to wine to smirnoff) every friday. Dueing teh summer, we got free icecream every weds. Oh, and wear whatever i want.....


My current company, i get...free...ummm...coffee and tea....yeah, it's the price i pay for going to a start up insteas of staying at my old job.
