i'm a software support analyst 2 for this small software company (been working there for 2 years)
and i got a call from my dream company (capital group) for a investment systems support tech (entry level) position

my goal is to be a business systems analyst at cap group by STARTING out as software support person

this appears less challenging than my present job...and it still in support (which i dont want to do for much longer))

I need to determine what to choose...because whatever job i choose...will totally affect my future career.
I would love to work in the corporate environment...downtown LA.....

is the risk of pursuing this new job opportunity even worth considering?????????????

yes, I think it's worth it. Bigger companies are more stable, that is until they outsource your job, but I digress. Small companies may have a lot to do and sometimes better pay, but there isn't much room usually for climbing the corporate ladder. Just be prepared for a lot of office/corporate politics. If you can play that game well, you'll do well.
