Wow. There's a good chance this could be even more stupid than The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which is really saying something.

As cool as JLA is... and it is, I think it's going to be hard to cast a Superman/Batman that are different from Routh/Bale because people are now used to those two as the classic heroes. There's a possibility this will still be cool, but I have a feeling it's going to be a weak showing that's just trying to ride the superhero movie coattails.
