JiTB Wakey Bakey Munchie Mash-Up review

They have 3 new loaded Hash Brown items on the menu. They're extensions of their stoner inspired munchie meals. With the Wakey Bakey one they're making no attempts to hide who it's marketed towards. I am not hig, or drinking, but I decided to try it any ways.

3 hash brow patties with pepper jack cheese, some white cheese sauce, bacon bits and a fried egg. HOLY FUCK this is delicious. I could only imagine how it would taste if I had been smoking or drinking. It probably has like 60 grams of fat, so much grease everywhere. At $3 this is not a bad deal, sure I could get 3 Beefy Rito whetever $1 burritos from Taco Bell. But this is a nice change of pace for something totally unhealthy.


This is a pic I found on Googles, not mine, but it looked very close to this. Not very appetizing looking yep. It had a copious amount of cheese. But this is JiTB we're talking about, so if I got it again tomorrow, who knows? I might get 1/128th as much cheese.

I like my hash browns crispy, seems they'd have little chance of remaining crispy in that ocean of goo.

Doesn't sound bad but looks pretty mediocre. It is cheap though. I'd prefer skipping the cheese for more bacon in strips myself though.

I don't know, really crispy hashbrowns will stay pretty crispy. Unless you just want like a crispy outer layer on some thick hash patty.

I toss fried eggs on top of hash browns so they can soak up the yolk.

I don't like Chicken Nuggets at all, but I typically try everything JiTB comes out with at least once, so yesterday I tried the H'Angry Hash. WTF is up with these names, someone pointed out to me Hangry is a new meme term or some shits. Any who, it's hash browns with chicken nuggets, 2 cheeses, ranch and buffalo sauce. It wasn't very spicy, and it wasn't very good imho. But, I dislike nuggets, I dunno probably others will like it. I was 100% sober when I ate it, and I know JiTB is trying to appease stoners who are high as shit with these.

Tonight I decided to try the Jack'd Hash. It has Browns with Jalapenos, bacon & 2 cheeses. Not enough Jalapenos for me, bacon was pretty decent, hash browns were still fairly crispy. I'd eat this one again for sure, and I'll probably re-visit all 3 after 2 or 5 beers. Or maybe after I've indulged in some greenery (Cali kid, have a card so it's like legal or whatevs...)

Unless they're changed, JiTB will add Jalapenos to anything for free. The Wakey Bakey one with Jalapenos would be fucking great, as an acquaintance agreed. He also suggested I order the Wakey & the Jack'd and combine them into 1. That might be my after dinner, but pre 4th meal snack sometime next week.

Hangry is a word that has caught on. My family started using it about 15 years ago, just merged hungry and angry....because we get angry when we're hungry. It's not pretty....

I don't recall hearing it before that, and I doubt we were the first, we do like to mess with words
