Jimmy Neutron has some deep episodes.

If you don't know, Jimmy Neutron is a cartoon on Nick. He is some brainiac little kid who invents all sort of stuff. Very much like Dexter's Laboratory.

Well anyways, I was watching it today and here is the plot: He creates two intelligent robots. Their task is to fix things which are not perfect. He made them for some thing specific in his lab, but I missed this part, and don't know what. Well, those robots go haywire, and start fixing everything. They start with people's hair and looks, and then move on to other things. But then, they realize that nothing is perfect, infact, this whole human race isn't perfect. They could not grasp the concept that humans are flawed, and this is what gives them their personality, individuality and what not. They even discuss this.

So what's the next logical step in the robots' minds? Well they were programmed to delete everything imperfect, and this is exactly what they do, using some kind of a zapping gun.

This could very well be turned into a Steven Speilberg movie, where instead of the comedy, the robots are all evil, and it's upto Arnold to stop them.

Deep.

Jimmy rocks! I love the one where he brings back Thomas Edison. Edison remarks "Well, knock ten points off my IQ and call me Tesla!" LOL! How many kids know about that old rivalry?? 😀

It's a pretty decent show, I wonder what the production costs and lead time for it are, since everything's in CG

My 3 y.o. son loves Jimmy. I got the DVD movie free with my JVC progressive player and I thought it would just be some cute little kid thing my son would like. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was!!! I actually look forward to watching the episodes on TV with him!
