Either that video is really old, or I am losing my marbles.
I thought his kids were like 16.

Most of those are terrible ungrateful brats and terrible parents.
Its actually quite disgusting how bad America has gotten.

The few nice kids who respect their parents actually deserve some candy.

Yeah I noticed that too, I had several older teenagers and even a 20yr old with a fedora asking for candy. I was like GTFO before I throw you off the balcony.

Buy your own damn candy.

why isn't this classified as child abuse, or worse, bullying? shame on these parents.

Candy was special enough when I was a kid that I actually collected/preserved a piece of candy from each holiday/special occasions. I knew what each different candy was from. When I was getting ready to move out my mom found the collection and tossed it out...I think that was the only time I got "upset" about candy. But when I explained what she tossed out she was more sorry than I was.

I used to keep candy wrappers.

My mom tossed all my Nintendo Power magazines and a bunch of others.
I had issues 1 through 50 (special edition) plus a couple others after that. And all the bonus strategy guides you get for resubscribing.

Many of those would be worth money today.

Well I for one am very conflicted watching this. I'm sorry to say I enjoy watching it, but it can be very cruel. I would never do it to my kids. I guess I'm just uptight like that. Kind of strange thing to reconcile because I was amused.....and I did enjoy the last 30 seconds the most.

That last little girl can bring a tear to your eye...

What is it about human nature that can produce this wide range of reactions?

The black kid = parenting fail
The last 3 kids in that video = parenting win
