As a Packers fan, I somewhat agreed with his decision to not get the vaccine if he truly has an allergy. But then he threw out Joe Fucking Rogan and any and all credibility was gone.

Q-Aron Rodgers indeed.

The Johnson and Johnson vaccine isn't an mRNA vaccine. He could have gotten that if he was scared.

Allergies to vaccine components are essentially non existent. He's just full of shit about his "allergy". Also I love how football players are all of a sudden health conscious when you consider the nature of the game they play. He's basically out there's damaging his brain every Sunday but because it's not mandated that's fine. Half these guys are doing blow and roids and hookers on the weekends but state they are legitimately concerned about the adverse effects of the covid vaccines. I hear that like every NFL player is on toradol for pain pregame but again it's the covid vaccine that scares them. Whatever. It's just fucking ridiculous how poorly people assess risk.

Yes I'd like to hear the specific ingredient in mRNA vaccines he is 'allergic' too. He also did specify mRNA vaccines at least in what I read - and if that's true, why not take J&J?

Aaron is mad at ya'll

I've always found that the best strategy when I don't want people to find out about my stupid decisions is to actually not make stupid decisions. By hey, that's just me. His mileage obviously varies.

Methinks influenced by his kooky girlfriend. She eats clay and tree bark to expel toxins from her body.
Well hey now that isn't exactly fair. I do the same thing but instead I drink green tea and eat blueberries both of which are rich in antioxidants and other healthy benefits. IMO don't call her kooky because of what she eats call her kooky because she doesn't believe in the benefits of modern day medical advancements.

The 37-year-old Rodgers said if any reporter would have asked a follow-up question, he would have explained he's "not an anti-vax flat earther," but that he's a "critical thinker."

And that "critical thinker" then repeated some Covid-19 misconceptions and said he has conferred with podcast host Joe Rogan on how to deal with a coronavirus infection.

Critical thinker for sure.

Whatever his position, he is a clear cut liar that couldn't stand by his convictions in front of the press when asked earlier in the year. On top of it all he sounds like a kook.

Great QB on the field though.

Rodgers - “I realize I’m in the crosshairs of the woke mob right now,” Rodgers said. “So before my final nail gets put in my cancel culture casket …”

Another poor, poor victim. He thinks adult accountability for lying about his vaccinations and flouting the same safeguards every other NFL player is abiding by —is the “woke mob.”?

Aaron sounds like he's miffed for being found out to be a liar. He can throw a football so he doesn't need nor understand adult accountability.

State Farm should just fucking cancel him.

Our QB is a dumbass too but at least he didn't try to tell everyone he was "immunized." 🤣
That's what pisses me off...telling people he was "immunized" by homeopathy. Then he has the balls to tell people he's not anti-vax, just a "critical thinker". Really? Thinking so critically you thought water was going to somehow protect you against covid? Cause that's what homeopathy is. Fucking water. Sometimes sugar, mostly water.

Fucking idiot. So he may not have been lying (cause he's too stupid to have had intent to misinform if he actually believed it was effective) but he's certainly fucking not a critical thinker.

Wait. Water and flower essences don't cure diseases?

So that money I gave Homeopaths Without Borders won't be helping those froggy little people in need down there in New Guinea?

Well that's just great.

This was my thoughts about the situation as well. His answer to the reporter back in August was deceptive imo.
If he had a true allergy, he'd have been exempted but wasn't.

A specialist approved by both the league and the player's union was brought in to assess his claims of an allergy. The exemption was then denied.

He decided to go full Joe Rogan, and now he's knee-jerking because he got found out and is being called on his bullshit.

I grew up in GB and have been a lifelong Packers fan...always liked Aaron until now...can't get over what a fucking moron he's turning out to be. Disappointing, but it is what it is.

@BlueWeasel had a good variation:
Q-Aron Rodgers indeed.
How about they just fire him rather than giving him a non-punishment.
Money. Possible World Championship. They aren't ready to pass the torch to Jordan Love. It's all about the numbers, despite the stupidity involved.

Put emilio estevez on this antivax wagon too.
Fired from Disney +

Emilio Estevez won't return to 'The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers' due to vaccine mandate

Fucking Ice Cube too, got fired off a movie he was doing for being an antivaxxtard. That one really pissed me off because I grew up loving Ice Cube and used to mow lawns and squirrel my lunch money away to go buy his tapes when I was a kid.

Given history of medicine in the US I'm not as knee jerk when minorities decline the vaccine, but if the person does have all the data available and is making a decision based on "research" they suck.
