It was news back in 2003. I guess it was the anniversary to the bite attack and so they replayed it again. Funny as heck as he points his finger at the snake and ZAP!!

This was a fake bit - that snake is obviously a dummy. It first aired two weeks ago, not in 2003. Jimmy ended up being "treated" by the cast of Grey's Anatomy, another subtle sign it wasn't real.

He was taken to the set of Grey's Anatomy after being taken from the studio by an ambulance crew. Actually he talked about it on the Stern show the day it aired.

BTW, rattlers are very fast strikers, it'd look faster than that in slow-mo I've nearly ran them over MTBing, you find some extra juice to jump&hammer about then.
