Jimmy "Justice" or so he calls himself camps out NY city streets with his video camera in hand to catch criminals in the act. No, not the criminal with a mask, not the one grabbing grandma's purse and running, but the one's sworn to uphold the law. That's right, New York's Finest is being watched by Jimmy and he wants them to know he is holding them accountable. Jimmy has caught a multitude of violations by police officers and traffic cops who seem to think they are above the law, that they somehow are not to be held to the same standards as normal citizens. Armed with his video camera the "Video Vigilante" goes to work, pointing out their violations just as they would to a citizen. Confronting them on the spot, some seem uneasy with a video tape rolling. Jimmy says he uses the intimidation that law enforcement uses, giving back the same medicine. The question is, should law enforcement be held to the same standards as citizens? Is Jimmy "Justice" doing a service or disservice?

Here is a video for you to get the gist: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf-tcjc87hw

Hmm. I am not exactly sure they are 'breaking the law". For example when a traffic cop waves you thru a red light, are you breaking the law?
They may have some legal right to violate things like traffic regulations in the performance of their duty. Which would make each instance a separate case.
It seems like Jimmy Justice may have a mental problem to be so obsessed with this issue.

If you aren't military, you are civilian. If they are police, are they not citizens? If they don't believe so, guess it's their turn for a tour in Iraq.

In TX, not driving through the red light would be breaking the law. Officer commands always trump traffic signs and signals.

If all he is recording is cops making u-turns, he's pretty much wasting his time.
