NEW YORK - Former NFL coach Jimmy Johnson will be a contestant on the reality television show "Survivor" this season.
CBS announced Monday the 67-year-old Johnson will be one of 20 castaways sent to Nicaragua. The premiere will air Sept. 15.
Johnson will be part of a team of 10 contestants over the age of 40 who will compete against a group aged 30 and under.
Johnson won a college national championship at the University of Miami, then won two Super Bowls with the Dallas Cowboys. He also coached the Miami Dolphins. Johnson is now an NFL commentator for Fox.

He will be out fast. Once the other contestants see him and will assume he has lots of money, they will kick his ass to the curb.

Little better article on E!:

"This is my third time here," the celebrated football coach and huge Survivor fan told me before the game started in Nicaragua. "My first time I got turned down. The second time, [for Gabon], I went through the whole process, and the Survivor doctor says, 'Hey, you can't go: You've got [arterial] blockage.' I went to the cardiologist and had a stent the very next week."

I might have watched if it was a whole cast of celebs, but not just for Jimmy Johnson 😛

Also last season was so perfect until the final vote, which entirely threw out credibility of the whole Survivor 'system'. There were 3 finalist, two played magnificently (Pavarti and Russel), two of the best survivor players of all time, the other (Sandra) did absolutely nothing the entire game and...Sandra wins because she's liked the most. Sigh. How can I watch any more Survivor after that?

Dam, most of that whole casts from this season looks like aspiring waiters and waitress, i mean models and actors and actresses.
