Then they look at Jim Cantore and say YOU GO HERE! He goes with a sattelite truck and a news crew and reports live every half hour.

This morning he was in Daytona. Since this afternoon he's been camped 5 minutes from my house off the interstate offramp.

Did you just come out of the closet? I mean, if you're getting wood over the weatherman, you're harboring deep and disturbed feelings.

If Cantore is there, you should probably evacuate :p

That is so intensely cool! I'm a big weather channel fan - have it on right now. If you go and say hi, I'll be watching . . .

However, aren't you all supposed to be evacuated? He keeps talking about how most people have left.

Stay safe, dude.

Mandatory evacuation is for traliers and beachside. I live 5 miles inland.

I just went out for a drive and Cantore is broadcasting from inbetween a dunkin donuts and a gas station that's been closed for several months.

9/10 stations are out of gas and closed. The streets are empty.

Oh yeah because driving around suburbia at 100mph is really, really cool, isn't it

You know if you're lucky you might run someone over when you do that, then you could be a proper cool guy eh
