Very interesting. These journalist there are brave, on one hand they get attacked literally by insurgents and the other verbally by the right.

I assume the next parts are not online yet?

Very good Part 1 read. I believe there are 6 or 7 parts to it and they will probably post a Part a day? or week.

Part 2 is up. Do watch the video clips on the side, they are really informative.

Really interesting first hand insight into how the insurgency works. Apparently, whole families band together including little children. Also disgusting on how the insurgents selectively choose which parts of the Koran to follow. They goto great lengths to treat her well but they murdered an Iraqi civilian claiming he was Mossad/Jewish/Collaborator when they had no idea who the hell they were kidnapping.

True, but the way they (kidnappers) act sometimes is just plain wierd. For example, when she was crying, they were comforting here and telling her to stop. They gave her really good lunches meant for "guests", gave her expensive toiletries, etc.

Funny thing is that they thought all American women were blondes!! All they probably see about Americans on their T.V. is either Bush or dumb blondes! No wonder they hate us so much!

Any country with an occupation and active insurgency would include the families, you are not in an army, you have to go home at the end of the day. I'm not condoning kidnapping though, but to think the Revolutionary war didn't include familes is naive.

Selectively picking parts of a religious text is of course standard for all religions, do you think Christians obey 100% of the Bible?
