Jiggz needs your help Jason

Thanks AMDFanboy. Come to find out I cannot even read PM's neither. I cannot reply to them or open them on a separate window. The only thing I saw with your PM was the preview, nothing else. As for starting a new thread, I don't think it was necessary. But I can always use any help even if it means starting a new thread. It's free anyway. And I promised I will have it deleted as soon as my dilemma is fixed. FFMCobalt, my apologies for AMDFanBoy starting a new thread. He was just trying to help. As for Jason thanks in advance for helping.
 
So does anybody has an idea what went wrong with my system? I can't send private message, clicking the icon does nothing except display the javascript on the bottom. I can't read PM's either, when I click on the Read button, it just refreshes the screen and goes back to the same message center page. i can't access the Help button either on the top of the menu.

My sysem works perfectly and didn't notice about the problem until about two days ago. The only thing I can recall doing was updating WinXP. I've looked in the Windows KB and search on anything related to Java and scripting but can't seem to fine the correct fix. It must have something to do with Java and Javascripts. For this is the only problem I've having. Any ideas? I'm all ears! Otherwise I would have to restore the system back two weeks to see if will work.

Enable java script and allow popups from AnandTech.
 
Thanks for your responses. I'll try to enable the pop block for AT. The javascript is already enabled. But to no help. Anyway, maybe it's this pop up blocker that is preventing me from getting PM access. Thanks again. Oh BTW I'm using my laptop to post to the forum. I've IE 6.0 and Mozilla FF. I never had problems until I installed FF and also updated my Win XP.
 
Got it! It was pop up blocker from Norton Internet Security that was causing the problem. Thanks to you all, especially to AMDFanBoy (AFB).

Just curious, is this the kind of response we expect from an "elite" member?? I would think there would be a bit more "class".

And to think, once I believed an Elite member was someone who had shown that they were "above" this kind of crap. I guess I won't make that mistake again. BTW, it make no difference whether it was "J/King" or not; that remark was classless.
