I just had to register after reading this thread.

First off, You guys are complete morons. Forum posters need to verify their over clocking results because they're ****** forum posters. Professional sites die if they doctor photos, so they generally don't do it. I mean, for Pete's sake, Chris Tom wouldn't have invited you idiots to Tek Republic if he had faked the results!

I hope you all realize that THG and the forumz are the laughing stock of the internet. Every other tech community like Anandtech, Ars, and Tech Report consider you guys to be dumbasses. After seeing the complete and total stupidity and lack of maturity on these forums, I can't say I blame them.

As far as i know anand and its members are very respected at toms;what the heck is this guys problem?

Well, while THG isn't such a bad site to me personally (I especially liked their videos from back in the day), public perception of THG is not very good. Bad design, bad forums (from the usability perspective), not especially knowledgable forum members.

Well the great thing about toms is that it is an open door to getting some knowledge.I have read some threads here and while id like to know that much, i just dont. There is some heavy info here.so ill learn enough elsewhere before i get too involved.

toms is a great mid level step to knowledge.I see no reason for some guy to claim to speak for all of you, when most members appreciate Anand alot.

not to mention he is not trustworthy. i used ot love the site. but the reviews started to be slanted. then after a time they were matching whoever was putting ads on his site. even when every onter review of the prduct was bad his was always great.

then he started lashing out at people.

If i get banned i may elaborate on that some more :) ;) as it stands i appreciate the effort people make to keep the level of knowledge growing at toms.

most of the regulars do try to keep it growing,I have learned alot in the last 6 months,i knew nothing about manufacturing when i joined and now I am studying every property of materials used on a cpu and looking for more.

so I have reason to appreciate it.This forum is a bit ahead of me just yet.

Toms used to be better IMHO.

There were a couple of exceptional members. But I quit after they changed the format.
