JFK - the movie

I watched it for the first time on TV, I think last week. I never knew how long it was! Longer than ROTK. Yikes.

It was a good movie, I mean I actually watched the whole thing. Not being alive at the time of JFK, I thought it gave me a good sense of what it felt like to live back then, with all those prominent political figures getting killed. I don't believe everything he tells me, though.

I saw it in the theater. Wasn't that like 10 years ago?

It was a well acted movie but it really is nothing more than theory and conjecture. Not really much basis in fact.

unsolved history did a 2 hours show on the "Magic Bullet" They totally proved that bullet was not "magic" and traveled in a straight line to inflict 7 wounds between kennedy and the Conley.

However, like sombody else said. "back and to the left"....

There needs to be more options. That movie never claimed that every word in it is true, and since it is just a movie, that is not only alright, but part of what makes it great. I will say this however, if even half of what is in that movie is true, there is no question in my mind that the JFK assassination was a conspiracy.

zzzzzz

I tried to sit through the whole thing, but couldn't make it.
Ditto. I routinely read novels of good length so don't give me that ADD crap either. The movie just seems so boring.

I loved JFK... but then again I lovedNixon too.

I'm not sure how much of it was really accurate, but it was a great movie.

I tell someone 'back and to the left' at least once a month (three times yesterday, but I think that's understandable 😉), and I haven't seen the movie in about 10 years now.

ummm...Unless it's a documentary, I would take it with a grain of salt. There's absolutely no way to recreate the entire history of the JFK assasination without taking some kind of poetic license.

See the movie "JFK II" at PrisonPlanet.tv.
(I found a copy that someone had posted Nov. 8, on usenet: alt.binaries.goat).
It seems to say (among other things) that: George H. W. Bush was (on Nov. 22, 1963) directly involved in the "doctoring" of the forensic evidence, which would have conclusively proven: from what direction the bullets, that hit JFK, came from.
That Lee Harvey Oswald was, at the time of the assassination, a paid FBI informant (concerning Cuban exile training camps in Louisiana).
And, that George H. W. Bush brought along with him CIA man/Watergate burglar E. Howard Hunt, when they both became part of the Nixon Admimistration.
Towards the end, the movie also questions the whereabouts of our current President George W. Bush, on the day that John Kennedy Jr. died in a plane crash.
Makes you think...

I didn't see it, but it makes me laugh, not think. A conspiracy to kill JFK I can handle MAYBE. This is WAAAAAY overboard.
