FYI--this is just a copy of the Post I just did at Ars-Technica cases.
I thought I had better check in--and I am trying to catch up on my e-mail after I post this.
I am behind on my e-mail--badly behind--and some of you may be missing orders. E-MAIL ME IF YOU HAVE AN OUTSTANDING/MISSING SHIPMENT.
By way of explanation--in the last two weeks I have been dealing with:
1. A data crash here that left me with an operable computer AFU, and a few thousand eight-dot-three file names to sort out, including my invoicing.
2. Personal time away to deal with my elderly mother's medical needs.
3. And to top it off--of the three remaining SO clients I still have, TWO had network / system crashes at the same time. One of these is still ongoing, and I will be away during the day most of tomorrow as well.
I hope to have the instructions in from John on the current way to update the news at the site yet tonight, and I will post this info, or a variant of it there ASAP.
I also discovered that the office number tape is not working earlier tonight, and I'll try to fix that as well.
