Jewish households should not have freaking Christmas trees!

speaking of -

anyone see the hebrew hammer last night on comedy central? I thought it was great!

"Jewdar!"

Jewish Households do NOT have a christmas tree. If you see a tree, decorated with lights, it's called a CHANUKKAH BUSH.

have a nice day 🙂

My grandfather is Jewish, my grandmother is not. They have a tree. What is the big deal?

Thats a little different. In a household where both are Jewish, why have a damn tree?

Did anyone watch the 'Hebrew Hammer' yesterday on Comedy Central???

I think bigben may have watched it. Maybe some of these people too. 😛

Sorry bleeb - just beat you by a few seconds...

I loved the whole concept of the movie - its good to see Jews taking on some self-deprication. After Dogma, I was looking forward to a little ecumenical religious bashing..

Also, loved the Kwanza guys

Athiests do, so why not jews?

Indeed.

Christmas has become, at least in the US, a holiday celebrated by a lot of people who aren't Christian in the sense of decorations, trees, presents, etc. They don't celebrate the real reason for the holiday, but except for going to church, it doesn't seem like most of you Christians get it either.

Also, the "Christmas" tree tradition comes from Druids if I'm not mistaken, so it doesn't seem like Christians should have a monopoly on it.
