Anyone familiar with it?...128 megs RAM, 375mhz RAMDAC...is it worth 25 bucks?...LMK...

Are you serious? You can get a 128 meg graphics card for $25?

From what I understand the SIS 315 is a decent low cost card -- it's performance is between a Geforce2 MX200 and a Geforce2 MX400. From what I understand, visual quality might be slightly below the Geforce.

Yep, I pulled one off e-Bay for 25 bucks SHIPPED!!!...lucky me, huh?...I figured, it was worth that just to see what it's capable of...everything I've read says it performs in the GF2MX 200 range, and it looks pretty well overclockable (5ns RAM I believe)...I'll let ya know in a few days or so...yum, yum...


EDIT: Oh, I forgot...bragging rights for having the 1st 128 meg vidcard in my area!!!...YEE HAW!!!...

Dang, that's a great deal. I just did a search on Ebay and it sure is tempting. I wouldn't mind paying $25 just to play around with one either -- I always wanted to have a 128 meg graphics card.

128mb on that chipset is a waste. But I hear it wipes the floor with the MX 200.
