Jetway boards

NOTE:
I have seen this board referred to as having either the KT266 or KT266A chipset. AccessMicro advertises the board as having the KT266A part. I am waiting on confirmation.
THG has a review of the board with the KT266 chipset, and lists it as a stable, middle of the road board.
I am not a hardcore overclocker. Stability is more important to me.
I am also looking at the DFI and MSI KT266A raid boards.
Thanks again

Those Jetway boards look sweet.. would be nice with a window on the case. 🙂

From what I've read, they're fine and stable. Not a top performer between 266A boards, but still it's only a few percentage points on benchies. I don't know much about DFI.. and I've heard some scary stuff on the MSI boards, but I think basically all the mobo makers are getting their acts together as the motherboards begin to mature...

Have you looked into a Soyo Dragon+? It supports RAID.. good, fast board too.

Yeah, but with the Jetway almost $50 cheaper, I can save myself one month of the following:
skipping my daily double latte' in the student union, selling blood plasma 3 days a week, and working extra days at the national guard armory. I can start that much sooner on new software, or on a gift for my wife for our anniversary. Of course, I'll probably go with the high end mainboard, and then just skip the gift certificate and give her only the ring. Yeah-- that's what I'll do.
I still want to know if anyone else out there has anything good or bad to say about the Jetway KT 266/KT266A boards, though-- I have several friends who will be doing upgrades in the near future.

I had one of their boards back in the socket 7 days. It was a decent performer; just a nice little board. I haven't had one of them since then though.
Do try for one with the KT266A chipset though.
