JetWay A200GDMS Socket 754... is it worth it?

ok, at the moment i have an asus k8v-x with an a64 3200+ newcastle. with a pitiful ATI Radeon 9200se as a video card, oh and 2x512 of corsair pc3200 value ram.

since im scrimping on money, i dont plan on buying any more agp video cards untill i go socket 939 with pci express video cards, why buy another agp when there is better stuff on higher platforms... i came across the "JetWay A200GDMS Socket 754 ATI Radeon XPRESS 200" mobo and it has what is said to be an onboard radeon x300 video card, and a single pci express slot.

how much better would the onvoard x300 be than my 9200se? and how bad would it be if i allocated 128mb of memory to suppliment the 32mb onboard for that onboard x300? as i see it i can use the x300 till i get me a desent pci express vid card, which may be sooner than i thought because i wont have to go socket 939 in order to get pci express.

ive looked around and can find little documentation on this mobo, heres some questiosn i NEED answered... 1) when OCing is the pci bis locked? 2) has any1 have any first hand experiance with this board and how does it perform.... 3) how does Jetway as a whole perform as a company, (stability, features, etc)

cant beat $80 for a board that comes with an onvoard video that "might" be better than you corrent video card... also the 6 channel sound is better than the pos onboard sound i have right now...

should i go for it? seems too good to be true so im starting to ask around...

More video RAM does NOT equal more video speed!

You'd be far better off just spending $50 on a used GeForce4 Ti4200 from the forsale forums here (to get a great video upgrade CHEAP!) and hold off on the motherboard upgrade until it's necessary - such as for a dual-core CPU or something - next year.

You've got a great CPU and good board - stick with 'em. No need to change yet.
AGP may be dying, but it's certainly not dead yet!

x300 is a budget card, not a gamer's card.

You have a great mobo and CPU now. Get yourself a Radeon 9800 Pro (if using AGP) or a Radeon x700 Pro (if PCI-E) and you're good to go. Neither one will set you back more than $125 last time I checked on NewEgg (especially if you go for a 128Mb version which is adequate - get a 256Mb if you can afford it but don't stress over it).

My LAN party rig is a 3200+ with an x700 and plays everything I throw at it just fine, even the FEAR Multiplayer Beta which puts a serious hurting on your rig.

ive seen some benches for other brand of the 9200se and its nearly the same for the radeon express.... right now im trying to find 3dmark01 but you cant even see the trial on futuremarks site (error in their sites code or something)... any1 have a mirror?

anyways, its not like i play games anymore... only wow if i feel like renewing my accounts... possibly lineage 2... other than that nothing... i havent touched a FPS in ages
