Jets SOOOO overpaid for Pennington.

I don't know what film they were watching, pennington is an OK qb, but nowhere near a good one. shoot, he should be a backup.

he can't make any of the really important throws. he can barely lollipop 30 yrds in the air.

he is way better than half the crap out there, wait and see.

I got my own quarterback problem with my team, Jake Plummer, now him I dont get.

plummer is weird, he has the tools.

seriously, how can anyone consider pennington an NFL QB?? he can't make any of the throws. he can only get by on play action and dinks and dunks. as long as people are going to be fooled it works. but no one is fooled by him anymore.

Well, you might be right, but compare Jets record with him to their record without him.

IF the jets win today, it will be because of special teams and Defense, not because of pennington.

he hasnt been bad...compared to sage rosenfeld for the dolphins and clearly better than AJ feeley. Fantasy wise he has been a stud

stupid @ss herm edwards. tries the 2 pt conversion earlier when he knew they were 0-3 on the season.

now the rams score and make the 2 pt conversion to put them up by 3.

if Herm had just kicked the Extra point, they would only be down by 2.

Well we will find out how good he is right now, he has to drive his team down the field.

Curtis Martin might bail out Pennington's @ss, but let's see Pennington make a big play. nothing yet.

Pennington has a noodle-arm, that's for sure. I think I can throw the ball farther than he can.

i know i can. 😉

seriously, his is the worst arm i've ever seen on an NFL starter.

Chads stats in the redzone:

39 TDs
0 Int

He is a good quarterback, good enough to win games. He just can't carry his team on his back. But only 4 or 5 QBs in this league can.

A couple analysts on ESPN think he has a serious injury that the NYJ's have kept quiet. They think after the playoffs they'll come clean about it.

he's always had a noodle arm. i have a hard time believing an injury is what accounts for his inability to throw more than 30 yds or so.

especially since he seems to move ok.

I don't get why people feel the need to rip on a QB, yes they are paid millions of dollars but I don't see anyone criticizing you on your job. Also, get a grip it's a GAME.

it is JUST A GAME, hence the 80million dollar contract is even more ridiculous.

duhhh.

He's better than my qb, kyle boller.

In a completly unrelated note, Indy has renamed their city pussyville after throwing the game w/ the broncos, play hard or don't play at all.

let me guess, your team needed the Colts to win.

Win your games and don't b1tch if someone else doesn't beat a team ahead of you.

You obvioulsy never saw Brunell in any of games this season throwing for Washington. Anything beyond 10 yards was considered a deep ball... :disgust:😉
